Un lavoro finito

Per Halloween quest'anno la mia casa si arricchisce di un nuovo pezzo:

Tanto per cambiare mi sono data al punto croce e al cucito. Il mio primo cuscino,,, ne sono molto orgogliosa anche perché mi è uscito dritto.
Lo schema della strega trovato free su Pinterest (ho cercato il link ma non sono riuscita a trovarlo. Probabilmente l'ho stampato senza salvarlo) mentre la stoffa a tema viene dalla Boit a Scrap.

Nel pieno della produzione halloweenosa non poteva mancare un layout, A fare questo mi sono davvero divertita molto perché ho ritagliato le casette, incollato le stelline, cucito le striscioline, insomma ho paciugato come si deve. Lo sketch è quello di Stuck On U Sketches, fantastico per utilizzare gli avanzi  (vi invito ad andare a vederlo sul blog). Siccome la pagina era già bella colorata, ho preferito sostituire il cerchio con una cucitura, che per rendere più visibile, ho eseguito doppia con zig zag al centro.
E che ne dite della zucca? Davvero spaventosa! Il pensierino è stato quello di andarmene in giro per strada conciata così, ma era davvero pesante!

In the prime of  Halloween production, a layout could not miss. To do this I really enjoyed it a lot because I cut out the houses, I have pasted the stars, I sewed the strips, in short, I messed up as it should. The sketch is to Stuck On U Sketches, great to use leftovers (I invite you to go see it on the blog). Since the page was already pretty colorful, I decided to replace the rim with a double seam, and to make it more visible, I performed a zig zag in the middle.
And what about the pumpkin? Really scary! The little thought was to go around the street so tanned, but it was really heavy!

Per lo sketch di oggi di Sketches in Thyme, ho deciso per una volta di dedicarmi ad un uomo. Non che io possieda molte carte maschili, visto che praticamente scrappo solo foto di Noemi, ma ogni tanto ne ho comprata qualcuna perchè non si sa mai. E nella nuova filosofia di far fuori gli avanzi (le scrapper più datate riconosceranno una Basic Grey ormai storica) mi sono ingegnata per tirar fuori comunque qualcosa di decente dal poco che avevo. Tutto sommato il risultato non mi dispiace forse anche perchè lo sketch è carinissimo ( lo trovate sul blog di SIT insieme alle altre interpretazioni) e facile da utilizzare.


For today's sketch by Sketches in Thyme, I decided to once dedicate my work to a man. I own just a few masculine papers, since I scrapbook pretty much just photos of Noemi, but sometimes I bought some because one never knows. And in the new philosophy of taking out the leftovers (the old scrappers can recognize a Basic Grey now historical) I am committed to whip out something decent, however the little I had. All in all I like the result, perhaps because the sketch is cute (you can find it on the blog of SIT along with other interpretations) and easy to use.

Oggi come ieri

Ok, sono diventata sentimentale! Lo ammetto: le mie amiche mi mancano tanto. E' triste quando la vita ti allontana da chi ami, ma quando una amica è una AMICA vera, non importa quante volte ti vedi o quanto tempo è passato. Quando la ritrovi è come se l'avessi lasciata solo ieri.

Una cosa che mi rende felice

Castagne, cioccolato ed un bicchiere di vino rosso...

...preferibilmente dolce e frizzantino.

Vi avevo promesso una nuova palette autunnale e quest'anno sono innamorata del marrone scuro e del color vinaccia, abbinati al crema. Sto facendo incetta di oggetti di arredo casa per trasformare il salotto e anche nello scrap mi sono adeguata. Ho preparato il solito kit e ora via alla produzione! Ecco fresca fresca la prima pagina, in cui ho giocato con i distress stain ed i glimmer mist sulla carta per acquarelli.

E' il 15 del mese e come ogni 15 del mese arriva lo sketch di Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge, che potete trovare sul blog. Ed io che ho avuto finalmente un pomeriggio tranquillo per dedicarmi ai miei numerosi hobbies, l'ho interpretato così:

Ho abbandonato la mia palette estiva (di cui comunque vedrete dei residui nei prossimi giorni) perchè i limoni erano finiti e in attesa di svelarvi la nuova golosa palette autunnale (ho già preparato il kit...) ho deciso di terminare dei lavori già iniziati e poi mollati lì (che sono sempre troppi!)

It's September the 15th and like every 15th of the month there is for you the sketch of Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge, which you can find on the blog. And I've finally had a quiet afternoon to dedicate myself to my many hobbies, I interpreted it thus.
I abandoned my summer palette (of which, however, you can see the residues in the coming days) because lemons were finished and waiting to unveil the new delicious autumnal palette (I've already prepared the kit ...) I decided to finish the work already started and then give it up there (which are always too many!)

SOUS- Curiosiamo nella nicchia

 Bellissimo questo nuovo sketch di SOUS! Sono riuscita a far fuori un sacco di avanzi. Le foto sono state scattate al teatro greco di Siracusa.

Beautiful this new sketch by SOUS! I was able to take out a lot of leftovers. The photos were taken at the greek theater of Syracuse (Italy).

Una paginetta così, un po' Gelli Plate, un po' spruzzi e mascherine, un po' Distress Stain con disegni a mano libera, un po' washi tapes. Proprio totalmente, assolutamente crazy!

AFSC -Gita in montagna

La sfida di inizio mese di AFSC, riguarda i nostri genitori o chi per loro ci ha cresciuti. Una buona occasione per una paginetta vintage oppure per combinare moderno con vecchie foto in bianco e nero, come ho fatto io:

I miei genitori andavano spesso in campeggio, al mare o in montagna. A guardare le vecchie fotografie sembravano felici, anche con il poco che avevano allora, e mi viene da domandarmi se oggi noi saremmo ancora capaci di adattarci ad una vacanza così spartana...

The September 1st challenge of AFSC concerns our parents or those who raised us. A good opportunity for a vintage page or to combine modern with old photos in black and white, as I did.
My parents often went camping, at the beach or in the mountains. When I look at old photographs I think they seemed to be happy, even with the little they had then, and it makes me wonder if today we would still be able to adapt to a holiday so spartan ...

Un titolo un pochino strano, ma avevo terminato le idee e allora ho deciso per una data.
Colori forti e contrastanti e abbellimenti in plastica: con questo nuovo sketch di SOUS ho voluto sperimentare la combinazione di stencil, gelatos e materiali non proprio classici. Sul blog tutte le altre splendide e diversissime interpretazioni: ce n'è per tutti i gusti, quindi vi invito a farvi un giretto con calma.

It is a title a bit strange, but I had run out of ideas, so I decided for a date.
Strong, contrasting colors and embellishments in plastic, with this new sketch of SOUS I wanted to experience the combination of stencil, gelatos and materials not just the classics. On the blog you can find all the other wonderful and very different interpretations: there is something for everyone, so please make a spin calmly.

Ebbene sì.... non ero ancora abbastanza incasinata.... e quindi quando ha chiuso il blog di Punky Scraps ho deciso di fare domanda per il nuovo DT di Sketches in Thyme, per cui avevo già lavorato anni fa.
Vi voglio tutte sintonizzate il primo di settembre con il primo sketch di una nuova serie a dir poco favolosa, ma non posso anticiparvi di più.... altrimenti vi rovino la sorpresa.

Yes .... I was not yet quite messy .... and then when the blog Punky Scraps has closed, I decided to apply for the new DT Sketches in Thyme, for whom I had worked years ago.
