Oggi come ieri

Ok, sono diventata sentimentale! Lo ammetto: le mie amiche mi mancano tanto. E' triste quando la vita ti allontana da chi ami, ma quando una amica è una AMICA vera, non importa quante volte ti vedi o quanto tempo è passato. Quando la ritrovi è come se l'avessi lasciata solo ieri.

Ok, I have become sentimental! I admit it: I miss my friends so much. It 's sad when life takes you away from those you love, but when a friend is a true FRIEND, no matter how many times you see her or how much time has passed. When you meet her it is as if you had left her yesterday.

Una cosa che mi rende felice

oppure un periodo in cui sono stata felice. Questo è il tema del mese per Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge. Una sfida facile. Castagne, cioccolato ed un bicchiere di vino rosso...

...preferibilmente dolce e frizzantino.

Vi avevo promesso una nuova palette autunnale e quest'anno sono innamorata del marrone scuro e del color vinaccia, abbinati al crema. Sto facendo incetta di oggetti di arredo casa per trasformare il salotto e anche nello scrap mi sono adeguata. Ho preparato il solito kit e ora via alla produzione! Ecco fresca fresca la prima pagina, in cui ho giocato con i distress stain ed i glimmer mist sulla carta per acquarelli.

E' il 15 del mese e come ogni 15 del mese arriva lo sketch di Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge, che potete trovare sul blog. Ed io che ho avuto finalmente un pomeriggio tranquillo per dedicarmi ai miei numerosi hobbies, l'ho interpretato così:

Ho abbandonato la mia palette estiva (di cui comunque vedrete dei residui nei prossimi giorni) perchè i limoni erano finiti e in attesa di svelarvi la nuova golosa palette autunnale (ho già preparato il kit...) ho deciso di terminare dei lavori già iniziati e poi mollati lì (che sono sempre troppi!)

It's September the 15th and like every 15th of the month there is for you the sketch of Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge, which you can find on the blog. And I've finally had a quiet afternoon to dedicate myself to my many hobbies, I interpreted it thus.
I abandoned my summer palette (of which, however, you can see the residues in the coming days) because lemons were finished and waiting to unveil the new delicious autumnal palette (I've already prepared the kit ...) I decided to finish the work already started and then give it up there (which are always too many!)

SOUS- Curiosiamo nella nicchia

 Bellissimo questo nuovo sketch di SOUS! Sono riuscita a far fuori un sacco di avanzi. Le foto sono state scattate al teatro greco di Siracusa.

Beautiful this new sketch by SOUS! I was able to take out a lot of leftovers. The photos were taken at the greek theater of Syracuse (Italy).

Una paginetta così, un po' Gelli Plate, un po' spruzzi e mascherine, un po' Distress Stain con disegni a mano libera, un po' washi tapes. Proprio totalmente, assolutamente crazy!

AFSC -Gita in montagna

La sfida di inizio mese di AFSC, riguarda i nostri genitori o chi per loro ci ha cresciuti. Una buona occasione per una paginetta vintage oppure per combinare moderno con vecchie foto in bianco e nero, come ho fatto io:

I miei genitori andavano spesso in campeggio, al mare o in montagna. A guardare le vecchie fotografie sembravano felici, anche con il poco che avevano allora, e mi viene da domandarmi se oggi noi saremmo ancora capaci di adattarci ad una vacanza così spartana...

The September 1st challenge of AFSC concerns our parents or those who raised us. A good opportunity for a vintage page or to combine modern with old photos in black and white, as I did.
My parents often went camping, at the beach or in the mountains. When I look at old photographs I think they seemed to be happy, even with the little they had then, and it makes me wonder if today we would still be able to adapt to a holiday so spartan ...

Un titolo un pochino strano, ma avevo terminato le idee e allora ho deciso per una data.
Colori forti e contrastanti e abbellimenti in plastica: con questo nuovo sketch di SOUS ho voluto sperimentare la combinazione di stencil, gelatos e materiali non proprio classici. Sul blog tutte le altre splendide e diversissime interpretazioni: ce n'è per tutti i gusti, quindi vi invito a farvi un giretto con calma.

It is a title a bit strange, but I had run out of ideas, so I decided for a date.
Strong, contrasting colors and embellishments in plastic, with this new sketch of SOUS I wanted to experience the combination of stencil, gelatos and materials not just the classics. On the blog you can find all the other wonderful and very different interpretations: there is something for everyone, so please make a spin calmly.

Un ritorno alla grande!

Ebbene sì.... non ero ancora abbastanza incasinata.... e quindi quando ha chiuso il blog di Punky Scraps ho deciso di fare domanda per il nuovo DT di Sketches in Thyme, per cui avevo già lavorato anni fa.
Vi voglio tutte sintonizzate il primo di settembre con il primo sketch di una nuova serie a dir poco favolosa, ma non posso anticiparvi di più.... altrimenti vi rovino la sorpresa.

Yes .... I was not yet quite messy .... and then when the blog Punky Scraps has closed, I decided to apply for the new DT Sketches in Thyme, for whom I had worked years ago.

Questa la mia interpretazione dello sketch di SOUS: le foto sono ormai storia, considerando quanto è cresciuta ultimamente la "Cipollina", ma per questa pagina erano perfette.

This is my take of the  SOUS's sketch. These photos are now history, considering how much has grown lately Noemi, but they were perfect for this page.

Punky scraps - Agosto

Non sono assolutamente bellissimi i colori di questa immagine? Io li ho amati a prima vista! La sfida di Punky Scraps consiste nel completare una "ricetta" lasciandosi ispirare dalla figura:

The colors of this image are beautiful, aren't they? I immediately fell in love with the bright colors. Let yourself be inspired by this collage and you must use:

I followed the recipe: 3 patterned papers, one of which is used front and back, painting sprayed and with a mask, hearts and handwritten journaling.

Limone, lime e liquerizia

Questi sono i colori della mia estate. Come ogni anno, al momento di preparare i bagagli per partire per le vacanze, sorge il problema di cosa portarsi dietro per una scrappatina del dopo pranzo. Ovviamente non ci si può portare dietro il mondo, ma basta un minikit ben abbinato, assolutamente fai da te, per risolvere la situazione.

Oggi esce il nuovo fantastico sketch di SOUS ed io ho deciso di sfruttarlo per terminare le carte in grigio rosa che avevo avanzato da questo minialbum.

Un ciondolo nuovo per SOUS

Reduci dal mercato con i nuovi acquisti. Impossibile evitare la tappa dal rivenditore di materiali per bigiotteria da cui anch'io ho comprato tante belle cosine. Lo sketch usato è quello di SOUS, come al solito carinissimo, e vi invito a fare un giro sul blog per vedere tutte le altre interpretazione e soprattutto per partecipare ad una delle nostre sfide.
We have just returned from the market with new purchases. Unable to avoid the stage in materials for jewelery retailer from which I bought too many beautiful little things. The sketch that I used is that of SOUS, as usual cute, and I invite you to take a ride on the blog to see all the other interpretation, and especially to participate in one of our challenges.

Ecco la mia interpretazione dello sketch di AFSC. Lo sfondo è realizzato con acrilici e tappetino Gelli, che permette di creare questi effetti di strati sovrapposti. Io ne vado matta!

Troppo buona la torta... o meglio, le torte...
Poi quando le amiche a tradimento ti fanno una foto nel momento in cui stai godendo... allora bisogna perlomeno scrapparla.
L'occasione è arrivata con la sfida di oggi di Punky Scraps, che richiedeva una palette di colori perfetta per la mia foto.

R come relax

Non vi ho ancora mostrato la pagina che avevo preparato per la sfida Relax del Meeting Nazionale:

Ero in montagna con giusto un paio di carte e qualche ritaglio, ma tutto sommato la pagina è uscita lo stesso carina, almeno secondo me. Io poi sono particolarmente affezionata a questa foto, un po' perché allora (leggi 10 anni fa) non mi vergognavo di farmi riprendere in costume da bagno, un po' perché l'acqua è da sempre il mio elemento naturale, il luogo in cui davvero mi posso rilassare, che sia piscina, mare o solo la vasca da bagno.

Oggi la sfida di AFSC consiste nel preparare una pagina che riguardi riconoscimenti, premiazioni ricevute, ecc. La cosa mi ha messo un po' in difficoltà, tuttavia da un cassetto è saltata fuori una vecchia foto, che tra l'altro non è gran che (il tailleur rosso spara da maledetti) scattata in occasione della consegna del premio Agostino Gemelli che ho ricevuto dopo la laurea.
